Lewisville, TX – June 9, 2025 – KMM, a leading national provider of logistics and field services, is proud to announce that its joint venture with Black Wave Design and Development (“KMM-Black Wave, LLC”), has been awarded a multi-year Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
Valued at over $9 million and lasting five years, this contract supports the AFRL’s main facility in Rome, NY as well as several surrounding satellite sites. Under this award, KMM-Black Wave will perform a wide range of base engineering and construction services including site work and excavation, building renovations, concrete, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, fire control systems, access control, demolition, and hazardous materials removal.
